Judy Spencer and Alan Pringle of the German Culture & Language Group will give a short presentation to provide the key features of Germanys party and electoral system.

The history of coalition government in Germany will be taken as a springboard for a discussion of any possible benefits to British politics . . . . were we to be that brave!

An initial Powerpoint presentation will provide the key information and a starting point for the following discussion. Both talk and discussion will be in German.

Please be ready to participate actively in the discussion! A set of stimulus questions will be provided.
