This illustrated interview will outline when, why and how Ian first went to Iran to live and work in the 1970s, how he found life in Iran then and ways in which it had both changed (and also stayed the same) when he went back a couple of years ago. He compares the feelings of ordinary people then under The Shah of Persia and now under the Islamic Government of Iran. Ian is a BRLSI Member and Music Convenor.
