Hidden Nature: the Secrets in Our Landscape

Dick Bateman, Geography & Adventure convenor at the BRLSI takes us on a journey around hidden nature in the landscape. The first is of erosion surfaces, evidence of past sea levels hidden in plain sight from any view in the Bath and surrounding area. The second is rivers which are continually undermining riverbank trees – something that only people who are used to looking at the same spot over many years will notice.
