ENJOY OUR WES ANDERSON SPOOF… AN ASTEROID IN THE CITY OF BATH!

BRLSI in conjunction with The Little Theatre present 'An Asteroid in the City of Bath!'

Do you love Wes Anderson? Are you happy to settle for something far inferior until his new film comes out on the 16th June. Then get your popcorn ready, and settle down for ‘An Asteroid in the City of Bath!

You may have heard by now that BRLSI members are now entitled to 25% off yearly membership (new members only) at The Little Theatre Cinema in Bath. Little Theatre membership entitles you to free films, discounted tickets through the year and access to the BRLSI & Little Theatre Film Discussion group.

We launch our partnership with The Little Theatre in tandem with the release of the hotly anticipated Wes Anderson epic, Asteroid City.

To celebrate the release and our new creative partnership, BRLSI and Little Theatre staff and volunteers have been busy having fun collaborating on their own Wes Anderson Spoof ‘An Asteroid in the City of the Bath.’ We hope you enjoy watching it and if you’re looking for some real asteroid related activity, remember BRLSI houses the first ever extra-terrestrial object collected and described on earth – the Krasnojarsk Pallasite!

The 4.2 billion year old meteorite is currently on display at BRLSI and is part of our free exhibition available to view Mon-Sat 10am-4pm. BRLSI is at 16 Queen Square Bath, BA1 2HN.

To take up the Little Theatre offer simply present a valid BRLSI membership card (physical or picture) at the Little Theatre kiosk (cannot be used for online purchases).

And if at the end of the film you think you can do better than Betty, and want to take our Krasnojarsk Pallasite pronunciation challenge, just put on your best Wes Anderson garb and off you go.

Just remember to send us your posts via @brlsi on Instagram using the hashtag #Asteroidchallenge.

We look forward to hearing from you and hope you enjoyed the show!
