Unbuilt Bath: the city as it might have been

Timothy Mowl’s lively and lavishly illustrated talk will tie in with the launch of his co-authored book on architectural schemes for Bath that were never realised, all those missed opportunities and ways not taken – a double crescent in Bathwick by Robert Adam; a 1916 civic centre on Orange Grove; a shopping centre by Sir Basil Spence; Sir James Dyson’s School of Design Innovation.

The talk will be a clarion call to Bath’s architects and planning officers to demand better design for the city. Unbuilt Bath by Timothy Mowl & Julian Orbach will be available to purchase on the night (cash or cheque only).
