**Live**Translation in Action – Was ist Übersetzung?

An interactive workshop looking at issues in translating in general and taking German texts as examples.

Lisa Davey is Chair of the Bath German Society and also an independent translator. She will give a short talk on translation before sharing short extracts from German texts. The audience will be invited to discuss the ways they would approach the task of translating the texts into English.
