Interested in Archaeology? If so, you might like to come along to BRLSI at 7:30pm on Thursday February 10th, when Bath and Camerton Archaeological Society (BACAS) is holding a meeting to give updates on its current projects, followed by the Society’s Annual General Meeting.
Projects covered will include:

The second year of geophysical survey at the ancient stone circles
Blacklands Dig 2010 by Bill Adams
The final year of excavation at Blacklands and the evidence of several Iron Age roundhouses
Homefield Project by Robin Holley
The first year of the excavation of the Medieval buildings at Upper Row Farm
Educational Project by Ceri Lambdin
The third and final year of the Society’s Heritage Lottery Funded ’Archaeology for All at Upper Row Farm’
BACAS runs a year-round programme of events, excavations and excursions, plus a winter lecture programme at BRLSI (the next is on Thursday 10th March, when Alexandra Fletcher of the British Museum will talk on Domuztepe, a Neolithic Site in Southern Turkey).
