Each month BRLSI take a classic and have fun sharing it with likeminded friends who find they want to savour it one further time. Texts featured in the BRLSI Big Read have included The Great Gatsby, The Age of Innocence, The Pursuit of Love, Mrs Dalloway, Rogue Male, Beware of Pity, and Shakespeare’s Sonnets.
Each Big Read Session lasts approximately one hour, and revolves around a 20 minute discussion of the novel by the session leader before opening out to wider group discussion. For future sessions keep an eye on our news and what’s on pages.
