In Spring 2021 the BRLSI hosted an online symposium looking at the extraordinary contribution to modern culture made by artists, thinkers and creators in Vienna. “A New Worldview: Vienna 1890-1935” attracted distinguished speakers from Bath, the UK and further afield including Vienna itself. The eight lectures were attended by an online audience of hundreds and the event was a roaring success.
