Over half of the UK population is considered overweight. In addition to having significant economic consequences, being overweight and obesity has been linked to a number of serious health problems. Even though the negative consequences are well understood, the rate of obesity only seems to be increasing. Could marketing be used as one way to promote a healthier lifestyle among consumers?
