Before the coronavirus pandemic locked us all down, the BRLSI was in the process of preparing a fascinating exhibition based on fossil finds at a perfectly preserved Jurassic ecosystem near Ilminster. The Strawberry Bank site has proved to be a treasure trove of fossils from the great age of the dinosaurs, many of them exceptionally well preserved. The BRLSI’s Curator and Collections Manager, Matt Williams, has been overseeing the dig. This video shows him preparing for the exhibition. Although it has been delayed for the time being, the exhibition will be rescheduled once life returns to normal.
