Illuminate Bath is a new arts festival transforming the city’s streets from November 1st to 13th. More than 50 artists and performers will be showcasing their work in indoor and outside locations around Bath, and BRLSI is very pleased to be the venue this Saturday and Sunday (6th-7th) for one of the indoor events, a new play by Elizabeth Wright entitled Vanessa and Virginia.
 

Based on the novel by Susan Sellers, Wright’s new play captures the complexity and beauty of the relationship between the sisters. Directed by Emma Gersch, this poignant and moving production features a moving projected artwork inspired by Vanessa Bell and Duncan Grant’s painting, and an original soundtrack composed by Jeremy Thurlow.
