Other Information

A small annual plant, growing here in large colonies so it has probably been present for several years. It grows as a native in sandy places near Bristol and Clevedon but in this instance was probably introduced with turf, grass seed or lawn sand. Only the 3rd record for the Bath area. It grew for a couple of years in a raised bed on the London Road,, where it was introduced with compost. It also turned up at Mulberry Way, Combe Down, when the new estate was being built.
