Performing Poetry will focus on making the presentation of well known and popular poems as eloquent and enjoyable as possible. We will rejoice in the skilful use of rhythm and rhyme and celebrate the old custom of reciting great anthology pieces among friends. Think Kubla Khan. Think Sir Patrick Spen. Think Old Possum. Think Hiawatha. Think Wild Swans at Coole.
Come just to listen, or come to take your place at the microphone. All reading materials will be provided.
