Wild wonders around Bath & the UK

Bath naturalist Lucy Starling points out some of the wonders of the natural world that have thrilled her during a lifetime in and around Bath and enjoying wildlife across the UK.  Lucy will tell us about many memorable moments encountering a variety of fauna and flora throughout the British Isles, including some spectacles within easy distance of the city.

Be prepared for brilliant birds (sights and sounds), marvellous moths, beautiful butterflies, dramatic dragonflies , fabulous flora, magnificent mammals, riveting reptiles and amazing amphibians.

Lucy Starling is President of Bath Natural History Society and had led countless field trips for the society, the University of the Third Age (U3A) and the RSPB. Her talk is ‘These Are a Few Of My Favourite Things – My UK Wildlife Highlights’.

This is a Bath Natural History Society talk – no booking required, £3 admission on the door. Doors open at 7pm, 7.30pm start.
