Uncovering the lives and stories of Bath’s Jewish community.

Christina Hilsenrath’s research into the history of the Jewish Burial Ground in Combe Down discovers a community (1800-1941) active in the professions and commerce of the City of Bath, but also uncovers tragic stories of early deaths, suicide and violence.

Christina Hilsenrath is Chair of the Friends of Bath Jewish Burial Ground.
