Stanza 25 – an afternoon of good poetry

Join Bath’s thriving Stanza25 poetry collective as they explore some of the many exciting ways poetry can work along the boundary with other creative forms. Stanza25 Afternoons are designed to appeal equally to working poets and to lovers of poetry who simply enjoy immersing themselves in the surprise and wonder of what good poetry can do.

Stanza25 afternoons are organised in turn by different members of the group. On September 19th, Amanda Saunders and Sue Boyle (Too Late for the Love Hotel, Report from the Judenplatz, The Letters from Mexico) will be curating contributions from Julia Amos, Verona Bass, Dawn Collins, Rosa Lewis, Ann Preston, Simon Tyler, Jack Walker, June Wentland and Marcia Walker as well as asking for audience responses to Sue’s current rather vertiginous experiment with words and images, Rewriting the Venice Book.
