BRLSI Quick Fixes: Patch It

Some damage is past the point of a quick stitch: a worn-through knee, a moth banquet, a stain that won’t shift. A patch turns a write-off into a design feature that’s entirely your own. Come and choose from a selection of ready-cut patches in a range of fabrics, colours and shapes, and learn to position and stitch it on so that it’s both hard-wearing and good-looking, whether you want it to blend in or stand proud.
(All tools and materials provided. If you have a specific item you’d like to mend, something woven – jeans, jacket, tote – with a hole or worn area up to around 8cm would be ideal.) 

This 45 minute workshop is designed for enthusiastic beginners who are looking to build new skills. Children are welcome to take part but will need their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
