Drawing on his sequence of books, The Secrets of Life: From Big Bang to Trump, Sean O’Connor explores the role of cooperation in driving the immutable current of life. Covering the nature of social dilemmas, the social contract and the background to ‘Das Adam Smith Problem’.

He explores how Game Theory and The Prisoner’s Dilemma illustrate the ways in which life is like a poker game, investigates why it’s rational to be irrational, explores the role of reciprocal altruism and the balance of nature.

SS (Sean) O’Connor spent over twenty years as an advertising executive before becoming an assembler of private equity projects, and an entrepreneur, investor and corporate strategist. His acclaimed novel, The Prisoner’s Dilemma, was published in 2013. Sean lives in London and Somerset.
