How do young people feel about having children?
In this talk, Dr Bernice Kuang gives an overview of past and unfolding patterns of family change in the United Kingdom, drawing comparisons with countries worldwide. Does this really amount to a political and economic crisis, as some commentators have suggested? The talk will look in detail at whether economic uncertainty and concerns about the environment are related to young peoples’ plans to have children.
