Chess not Chequers – Constructing Meaningful Policy
Tue 18 January, 2022 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm GMT
This event is online only
Covid-19 has caused enormous death and suffering; chronic diseases are increasing; inequalities are widening; and environmental catastrophe is looming.
Conceptualising these complex health, equity and environmental challenges in ways that truly take account of their complexity is essential for generating relevant evidence, constructing more meaningful practical and policy responses, and evaluating those responses appropriately. This talk will explore these themes, and propose ways in which they might be achieved.
