**Virtual** Beyond the Myth of the Apolitical Actor: The Case of the British Military

In this talk, Professor Higate will challenge the myth of the British military as an apolitical actor. In so doing he will analyse the troubling political culture of its personnel together with the ways in which it usurps the power of the Executive.
