If you think Sylvia Plath wrote little more thanThe Bell Jar, an upcoming talk at BRLSI is for you. A new edition of Sylvia Plath’s poems builds upon decades of research to newly order and date poems and includes previously unpublished juvenilia and extensive notes. Co-editor of the volumeThe Poems of Sylvia Plath (Faber, 2026) Amanda Golden will join Plath scholar, Nicola Presley in a conversation about Plath’s poetry, and her relevance to audiences today. The talk will be followed by a live Q&A with the audience and will be of interest to creative and critical readers alike, illustrating Plath’s development as a writer.
