10am-12.30pm: £5 entry fee

Join Sue Boyle as she brings together a performance of The Waste Land Revisited, a collaborative response to T S Eliot’s great poem. The script was developed over the last year by a group of dedicated and creative individuals from the Devon Moor Poets and the Bath Writers and Artists groups.

It includes a range of monologues, conversation pieces and group readings as well as songs from Bath sustainability writer Peter Reason and Sherborne singer / songwriter Miranda Pender. Participants will enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of working theatre as well as the chance to be part of the first ever presentation of an exciting and innovative piece. Entry fee includes a perfect hardbound copy of the script.

2pm-4pm: free entry

Join Sue Boyle for her introduction to The Waste Land and a full reading of the poem by members of the Bath Writers and Moor Poets. The reading will be interwoven with fascinating short glimpses of Eliot’s biography. The afternoon will end with Will There Be Singing In The Dark Times, a showcase concert of songs and recently published poems by members of the cast.

You can attend morning or afternoon or both! For tickets and further information please contact: sueboyle2@gmail.com
