Join us again for the liveliest night of the year – Party in the City!
This free annual event is a city-wide showcase of live music; pubs, churches and venues like BRLSI open their doors to everyone to enjoy the wide variety of music on offer.
This year we have:
5.30pm – The Alley Barbers – close harmony songs, from barbershop to old-time ballads
6pm – Barry Lane & the Fridge Mechanics with David Punter – lyrical, folk-rock music
7pm – Zephyrets – a clarinet group playing a wide variety of music
7.35pm – Feast of Fools – folk cappella folk quartet
8.10pm – Irontrain – three-piece group weaving soulful acoustic covers and original country tunes
8.50 – 9.20pm – Uke Can’t be Serious – covers from Depeche Mode to Pink Floyd, Creedence Clearwater Revival to Waterboys
No booking required, just turn up! Drinks for sale – come on down to Queen Square and enjoy!
