BRLSI Quick Fixes: Make it unique – Tiny Embroidered Motifs

Not everything worth stitching is a repair. A small embroidered motif — your initials on a cuff, a little symbol on a collar, a single letter on a pocket — is the fastest way to turn something plain, mass-produced or frankly boring into something unmistakably yours. It’s also the perfect cover for a small mark or mend you’d rather not advertise. In this beginner-friendly session you’ll learn a handful of simple, versatile stitches and leave knowing how to customise, personalise and generally elevate just about anything in your wardrobe.

(All materials provided. Bring an item you’d like to personalise if you fancy it — a shirt, cap, bag or jeans are all ideal — or just practise on the fabric provided.)

This 45 minute workshop is designed for enthusiastic beginners who are looking to build new skills. Children are welcome to take part but will need their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
