£3.00 – £6.00All living things on Earth are related; they share a common ancestor (LUCA). Recent work has allowed us to determine when LUCA lived, its way of life, and what kind of genes it had, thus firmly placing LUCA in the context of the tree of life and Earth’s history. In this talk Dr Ed Moody will discuss what it can tell us about the origin of life.
