BRLSI Quick Fixes: Mend a rip in a hurry

Rips tend to happen at the most unexpected and inconvenient moments – and to add insult to injury, they can be very annoying to mend as there’s no ‘extra’ fabric either side. In this 45minute session we’ll learn one quick and effective technique you can use to fix and reinforce the fabric in no time.

(All materials provided. If you would like to bring an item to mend in the session, the fabric should be woven (denim/ linen/ similar) and the rip no more than 10cm. If in doubt, bring it and we’ll do a quick assessment at the start!)

This 45 minute workshop is designed for enthusiastic beginners who are looking to build new skills. Children are welcome to take part but will need their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
