BRLSI Quick Fixes: Mend a hole in a T-Shirt

Nobody really knows how they happen – but those tiny little holes in our favourite t-shirts get to us all, and left untended they just get bigger and bigger until there’s nothing to be done.  There’s no need to let things get that bad: this simple, attractive and robust technique is all you need to get it back in circulation in no time.  Bonus: it’s so satisfying that you may even find yourself looking forward to the next one!  

(All materials provided. If you would like to bring an item to mend in the session, the fabric should be jersey and the hole no larger than a 50p piece. If in doubt, bring it and we’ll do a quick assessment at the start!)

This 45 minute workshop is designed for enthusiastic beginners who are looking to build new skills. Children are welcome to take part but will need their own ticket and must be accompanied by an adult.
