Boro & Sashiko quilting: 4-week course

Design and make a cover for a laptop, hot water bottle, coffee or tea pot in this four-week project course.

You will be led and supported by Anna Chapman-Andrews, from Lovemakers Craft Cafe; Anna has run several very popular courses at BRLSI, along with the Bauble Bar at our annual Christmas market. You can read more about Anna here.

This course will take place on Thursdays 5, 12, 19 & 26 November 2026, 7pm-9pm.

Please read the following details carefully:

1. You will need to bring your hot water bottle / laptop / coffee pot / teapot with you in Week 1 for sizing.

2. You will need to do some independent work on your project in between the weekly classes to finish it – Anna is happy to be contacted during the course if you have any questions or you can attend one of her independently-run drop-in classes (details on her website).

3. Ticket prices include all the necessary kit ie linens (a selection will be available at the first session), batting, threads etc.

4. If you need to buy sashiko needles, please add a “Sashiko needles voucher” to your basket and you will pay Anna for these at the first session (£7.50).
