Bath Patchwork Project ’26

Make your mark on a giant patchwork created by the community of Bath. A patchwork of people and place.

The ‘Bath Patchwork Project ’26′, curated by the Bath Artist Studios, invites participants to collaborate on this collective artwork that will act as a textile-based time capsule- gathering shared stories, identities, and connections across the city at this moment in time.

What to expect:

A teacher-led workshop where you will learn how to hand-stitch your name or a motif onto fabric.

Share your hand-written hopes or thoughts onto paper that will be incorporated into the reverse side of the patchwork

Have conversations, learn a new skill and be part of an ambitious community project.

Your square will be stitched together with all other contributions to make a giant patchwork mural of Bath in 2026.

No experience needed- just come as you are. All materials and equipment provided.

This 2 hour workshop is designed for everyone. Children 7+ are welcome to take part but must be accompanied by an adult. The charge is to cover materials and equipment.
