Hugh Williamson has a passion for trees and is one of the organisers of the Bath Urban Treescape trails.
Bath has many impressive specimen trees, but few people are aware of their significance or history. For instance, Bath was one of the first places after Kew Gardens to receive specimens of the Ginkgo (usually regarded as a living fossil) after its discovery in China.
