Bath Readathon!
Tue 12 November at 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm GMT
This free event is part of Being Human Festival, the UK’s national festival of the humanities, taking place 7–16 November 2024.
Being Human is led by the School of Advanced Study, University of London, with generous support from Research England, in partnership with the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the British Academy. For further information please see the Being Human Festival website here; or the full list of Being Human: Bath events here
Join in on the Bath Readathon! – a fun reading experience for adults of all ages. Our readathon activities are designed for sharing the enjoyment of reading with other people, using the theme of “landmarks” as our reading inspiration.
Bring along your book, poem or play to read with other people in the room. You can then chat about what you have just read with the group, or you can simply listen to what others have to say. Our Bath Readathon! Prompt Map offers a range of reading texts if you are looking for ideas – see here for the Prompt Map.
Tickets are FREE and must be booked in advance here.
