Species Seen | Pleated Snowdrop (Galanthus plicatus)? |
Scientific Name | |
Recorder | Rob Randall |
Record Status | Unconfirmed |
Identified on | 19/02/2021 |
Location | ST719651 |
Locality | Carr's Wood |
Parish | Twerton, Bath |
Habitat | Abandoned woodland garden |
Notes | Flowering a week or two later than the Common Snowdrop and with very broad, rather thin and slightly folded leaves. The flowers are also rather larger but this is more difficult to judge. These plants may not be pure because both species grow here and they readily hybridise. |
