Susan trained as a graphic artist & studied botanical drawing & watercolour painting at the Royal Botanical Garden Edinburgh. She paints botanical work & birds in watercolour. She experiments with print, silk painting & acrylic to create freer works. Her work is in private collections in the UK, Ireland, the USA & Dubai.
Liz studied sculpture, ceramics & on glaze painting in France. She works in porcelain, bronze & papier mâché. Her work ranges from complicated structural challenges in porcelain to animal pieces given an interesting anatomical edge by her roots in veterinary medicine. In 2015 she was elected to The Society of United Artists.
Dawn is a poet & editor, and devises and runs community arts projects. Her pamphlet This Meeting of Tracks was published in the Pushcart-nominated four-poet book Mend & Hone (2013). She has collaborated with Liz in two residencies at Edinburgh Fringe.
