BRLSI Institution Lecture - How Cities Change

Date Description
18 October 2018

Edward Nash, Nash Architectural Partnership

In this keynote lecture to launch the 2018-19 BRLSI cities series of talks, the speaker will suggest that understanding why and how we get the urban environments we do is important. He will set the stage by addressing how cities evolve and what has caused them to change over time and then focus on how cities might serve their future residents better in the future by becoming accountable for the wider environmental impacts of city living.
Edward Nash founded Nash Partnership in Bath thirty years ago and its projects have included: Bradford on Avon’s town centre, several sites along Bath’s Riverside Regeneration Corridor and a regeneration capacity study for South Gloucestershire Council.
