Michael Pitts Cameraman & film producer

During 1994 and 1995, cameraman Michael Pitts spent several months on the island of Komodo in the Indonesian archipelago making a film for the BBC/Discovery Channel on Komodo Dragons. It was an exciting and at times dangerous challenge, involving many hours alone in a hide capturing the behaviour of the world’s largest living lizards. Michael will share the trials and tribulations of working in a remote location filming these incredible creatures. The film was awarded gold for cinematography excellence at the New York Festivals in 1997.
