Victoria Hillmann – Forgotten Little Creatures (and Flora) of Somerset and Wiltshire
Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution, 16-18 Queen Square, Bath. BA1 2HN.
Doors open 7.00 pm for 7.30 pm start
Victoria was Wild Somerset Photographer of the Year in 2013. Her talk will be based on her exhibition at BRLSI, which showcases unique photographs on different mediums offering a new perspective on a range of often overlooked flora and fauna that are key to the continued well-being of rich biodiversity in the world today and into the future. The photographs will provide new images and insights to a world of wildlife in its natural habitat showcasing the diversity and wonder in a range of locations in Somerset and Wiltshire. This new focus on the lesser photographed species of our world will help widen people’s appreciation of a range of plants, insects, reptiles and other animals and help educate a greater audience in the critical role they play in the management of the environment.
