Complex systems theory has grown from an important new paradigm in the sciences to become interdisciplinary and far reaching. It now has a major influence on the social sciences, including Business, Economics and Management.

What are the core ideas in CST and how is it influencing practice? How can policy and organisation systems be best managed in a challenging complex environment? What do we mean by ‘making a system resilient’? Resilience for whom?
