What is it that Humanity Should Not Give Away to Machines?

03 December 2019

Dr Stacey will chart the dark-side of technology, the compelling contextual forces at work which are reinforcing dark-side technology use (e.g. social media and suicide) and he proposes that this is explained through a loss of human critique.

He will draw on the philosophy of Kant, Hegel, Nietzsche, Freud, and other philosophers which leads him to propose a new theory of Humanism as a way forward.19:30PM
