During Rugby World Cup in October 2019, Andrew Polson, armed with his Nikon D810, hit the streets of Tokyo to capture the life of a city that offers such contrast. From the colour and sharp lines that the hi-tech modernity of the city offers to the back alleys where you will find a warren of tumbledown bars and restaurants.
Andrew’s love of symmetry is very apparent in this series of images along with his keen eye for portraiture and capturing unique moments through his timing of composition.
Andrew has asked Jason Dorley-Brown to curate this exhibition. Jason brings his experience from 30 years of working with many great photographers in New York City and London, as a black and white and colour printer, to the project.
