To mark the centenary of the discovery of the tomb of Tutankhamun and the opening of the Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo, 150 precious artefacts, currently on a world tour, arrive in London in November 2019. This is the largest ever exhibition of objects to be shown outside Egypt.
To coincide with the British exhibition the BRLSI is privileged to host this seminal talk, which gives the background to the boy king and tells the fascinating story of the finding of the tomb by Howard Carter. The talk will be illustrated with the photos taken by the team photographer, Harry Burton and the fine drawings of Howard Carter.
