The BRLSI is delighted to support Visit Bath’s ‘Feel-Good February’ with a special set of guided walks based on the Institution’s popular City Trails. Each walk will start from BRLSI at 16 Queen Square, Bath, BA1 2HN and will be led by an expert guide. The walks will last for approximately an hour and everyone is invited to come along to learn fascinating facts about the history of Bath’s many famous scientists, inventors and explorers on the ‘Science Trail’; to hear about the life of the medieval mathematician Adelard on the ‘Walk with Adelard’; to gaze at Bath’s many wonderful trees on the ‘Tree Gazing’ and ‘Queen Square Tree Trails’; and to learn about the geology behind the stones used to build Bath’s historic buildings on the ‘Geology Trail’.
