**Live** Phenomenology - looking at the world in a different light
02 February 2021
Professor Mulhall will explore what is distinctive about the Phenomenological tradition in twentieth century French and German philosophy by exploring Heidegger's way of identifying himself with it. This will involve exploring ideas he inherited from Husserl, as well as his own original contributions to its development. Central themes will include the relation of phenomenology to scepticism, its hostility to theorising, and its interest in the conditions for its own possibility.
