Knowledge is one of the most important areas of study in philosophy.

 

There are three principal questions in its study: what is knowledge?; how do we acquire it?; do we have it?

 

This lecture considers the first of these questions.

 

It considers the standard or tri-partite analysis of knowledge and some amendments to it.
