Living in Godless Times: Are we the Last Individuals?

02 April 2019

The current crisis of the liberal system forces us to re-think the paradigms that characterised international politics since the 1990s. The current crisis of the individual is not new, and finds echoes in the inter-war period within the relationship between the Ens and Society. The lecture will explore these phenomena in Nietzschean terms and will also borrow from, Søren Kierkegaard, Fyodor Dostoevsky, and Franz Kafka.
