Other Information
This lichen is alos common on paving slabs. From a distance it looks like discarded chewing gum but on close inspection it has creamy wrinkled lobes round the edge and closely packed fawn-coloured fruiting bodies (apothecia) in the centre. Sometimes it gets fragmented, especially when specimens get older.
