In his talk Sense and Nonsense, Prof. Davies sceptically addressed some questions in contemporary science, where there lurk some fundamental disagreements.
He commented on various issues such as superstring theory, dark matter as well as on the prominent advocates of these theories.
The invited guest, The Chairman of Bath and North East Somerset Council, Councillor Neil Butters,concluded the evening with a final question to end the question and answer period following the lecture.
