John Sibbick:
Reconstruction John Sibbick is a Bath based illustrator who specialises in artistic recreations of prehistoric creatures. John is particularly well known to palaeontologists, among whom he is regarded as one of the best scientific illustrators or "palaeoartists". His work is seen around the world in publications such as National Geographic magazine, books (popular and academic) and museums including the dinosaur gallery of the Natural History Museum of London. BRLSI Curator Matt Williams has worked with John and his wife Bridget to create an exhibition of over sixty pieces of his work at the Institution. The exhibition looks at the work both as beautiful art and as intricately studied, detailed scientific illustrations.
