After Darwin—Where is Evolution Going?
Simon Conway Morris FRS
University of Cambridge
Darwin still bestrides the evolutionary stage, but is it time to call for a scene change? Darwin got it very largely right, but is that all there is to say? Whispers of a post-Darwinian world are growing: a world where evolution has learnt to evolve and by no means everything is as random as is often thought.

DABbooknow.gif Darwin’s Worms
Bent Architect Theatre
In this splendid combination of accessible science and compelling drama, Darwin’s Worms celebrates Charles Darwin’s deep love for these modest, unassuming  little creatures that lurk beneath our feet! Through the form of a distinctly surreal and twisted science lecture demonstration, a team of crack scientists re-create some of Darwin’s more bizarre experiments–such as playing the bassoon to the worms to see how they react! But then, in the dark of the scientists’ laboratory, things begin to go awry...
